01 / Strategy

What the brand stands for

The identity should express what RiShift helps organizations accomplish—not merely signal sustainability as a subject.

Proposed positioning articulation
Working purpose
Connect sustainability with business decisions and practical action.

RiShift's expertise should feel relevant to people responsible for strategy, risk, growth, governance, capabilities, and organizational change.

Brand promise — proposed

Clearer thinking, grounded expertise and actionable paths from sustainability priorities to business decisions.

Brand character

Serious about the work. Human in how it works.

Confident without inflated claims.
Practical without reducing complexity.
Strategic without jargon for its own sake.
Collaborative without losing accountability.

These are editorial recommendations for client validation, not pre-existing signed-off brand values.

02 / Strategic narrative

Speak to the decision, not just the discipline

Lead with business relevance, then demonstrate expertise and a credible next step.

Proposed messaging system
Primary buyers

Corporate & business-unit leaders

Frame sustainability in decisions, operations, resilience, capabilities and value creation.

Internal advocates

Sustainability & ESG leaders

Provide enough substance, specificity and evidence to support internal conversations and cross-functional alignment.

Supporting stakeholders

Teams who turn plans into practice

Use accessible explanations for the people who implement governance, reporting and change.

RiShift source identity contextualized with consulting, workshops, and evidence-based communications
Identity direction example from the existing manual. Supporting descriptors shown here are recommended framing, not an approved public claims set. Click to enlarge.

Message hierarchy

1. The business challenge. 2. RiShift's relevant expertise. 3. Evidence and applicability. 4. The specific conversation to begin.

Working headline

Make sustainability profitable / Haz que la sostenibilidad sea rentable. Preserve as the recorded working direction without implying guaranteed financial outcomes.

04 / Operational logo standards

Space, scale and integrity

Simple, testable rules keep the original mark legible across print and digital environments.

Sizing rules for approval
RiShift logo clear-space and minimum-size working diagrams
Operational construction diagram; H/4 clear space and minimum sizes are proposals tested in preview, not original signed-off standards.

Clear space

Measure H as the visible height of the artwork (exclude export padding). Allow a minimum clear area of H/4 on every side.

Minimum recommended sizes

Full signature: 144 CSS px / 28 mm. Wordmark: 96 CSS px / 20 mm. Solid symbol: 40 CSS px / 10 mm. Larger in adverse production conditions.

Four existing RiShift logo presentations on navy, mint, magenta, and violet fields
Supplied reference compositions; preserve their color relationships and do not introduce ad hoc effects.
Do not: stretch, rotate, crop, trace, retype, add shadows, change single logo colors, or attach a new tagline directly to the signature. Obtain a verified one-color master for specialist fabrication.
05 / Visual foundations

The source palette

Four colors already define the original identity. The values below follow the printed source HEX specifications.

Existing reference / HEX
Navy#021F41RGB 2 · 31 · 65
Mint#9DCEB6RGB 157 · 206 · 182
Magenta#E95EBERGB 233 · 94 · 190
Violet#655DC6RGB 101 · 93 · 198

Recommended relationship

Use the source HEX codes as the starting authority for digital master colors, pending client confirmation. Keep derived digital interface tokens explicitly named rather than silently overwriting source art.

Editorial balance — proposed

Navy supports trust and legibility; mint provides warmth and positive interaction; violet and magenta work best as restrained signals and accents rather than competing reading surfaces.

Two source conflicts must be resolved: source page 24 pairs #021F41 with RGB 1/30/65 (HEX converts to 2/31/65). Page 25 pairs #9DCEB6 with RGB 149/225/191 (HEX converts to 157/206/182). Approve which source values govern future exports.
06 / Digital application

A deliberate digital palette

The working website already uses a closely related set of interface colors. Treat these as implementation tokens until approved.

Recorded website tokens
Midnight navy#10213E
Warm ivory#F5F3ED
Soft mint#A6D5C1
Digital violet#6857BB
Digital magenta#D53080
Recorded foreground-background contrast comparisons for RiShift brand colors
Source-manual contrast calculations, limited to opaque color pairs; not full WCAG certification.

Use color by function

Set body text primarily in navy on ivory or white; use mint with navy text for primary calls to action. Use violet and magenta sparingly, and never as the sole means to communicate a state.

07 / Typography

A clear voice in every weight

Carnas Light is RiShift's signature display direction. Pair it with a versatile open-source sans serif for confident, readable English and Spanish communication.

Carnas Light — family name in authentic Carnas Light

Actual letterforms, rendered from Carnas-Lig.otf by Hoftype. Fixed images preserve the specimen across devices without distributing font software.

A distinctive, slender sans serif by Dieter Hofrichter / Hoftype. Proposed for the brand's most important editorial headlines, large statements and signage.

Authentic Carnas Light specimens are included. Confirm the applicable production license before using the typeface in RiShift’s own documents or live website.

02 / Companion typeface

Find the right pairing

Explore each font in an actual headline, English and Spanish text, and a website example. Manrope is our recommendation; the other options offer different brand personalities. The official specimens are linked for exact comparison.

Recommended typographic roles

  • Display / campaign headlines: Carnas Light (300), 40–72px+, generous line-height and restrained letter spacing.
  • Section headlines: Manrope Semibold (600), for legible, more compact navigation through content.
  • Body and long-form text: Manrope Regular (400), typically 16–18px and a line-height around 1.55–1.7.
  • Controls, navigation and labels: Manrope Medium/Semibold (500/600).
  • Quotes and emphasis: rely on hierarchy, contrast or carefully chosen weight—not artificial Carnas Bold.

Production principles

  • Use one display family + one supporting family per application.
  • Check accents, punctuation and line breaks in English and Spanish before release.
  • Keep body text strong enough to read on mobile; do not use Carnas Light for small labels or dense paragraphs.
  • Google Fonts alternatives are open licensed, but retain their copyright/license notices when redistributing font software.
  • Carnas Light is shown here in authentic fixed specimens rendered from the licensed OTF. Section headings use Manrope, the recommended companion. No Carnas font software is distributed with the manual.
Original Carnas reference (source artwork)
Original Carnas Bold text in the source identity reference, alongside proposed typography role labels
This original identity reference is rendered faithfully from the RiShift source guide and contains Carnas Bold. It is historical artwork, not a Carnas Light live typesetting example.
Typography for approval: Carnas Light is the preferred display direction; Manrope is the recommended supporting family. The Carnas specimens show authentic letterforms as fixed images. Confirm RiShift’s production and webfont rights for each intended use before rollout. Companion comparisons load from Google Fonts when connected.
08 / Bilingual expression

One brand. Two natural voices.

The manual is English-first for review. RiShift's public communications should remain equally credible in Spanish and English.

Editorial rules for review
Side-by-side English and Spanish headline examples in the RiShift identity manual
Illustrative bilingual type hierarchy, not a Carnas rendering.

Write naturally, not mechanically

Translate decisions, meaning and evidence level, not word count. Give Spanish layouts room to expand. Preserve the full approved names of services and offerings.

Proof both languages

Review á, é, í, ó, ú, ü, ñ, ¿, ¡; punctuation, date formats, text breaks, form validation, links, metadata and navigation destinations.

Headline / Working direction

Make sustainability profitable

We connect sustainability with business decisions and practical action.

09 / Visual system

Make the decision visible

A calm editorial grid keeps services, evidence and next actions readable—especially on complex sustainability topics.

Operational layout tokens
RiShift proposed 12-column grid, spacing increments and form controls
Proposed spacing / grid and control guidance, illustrated in the identity reference extension.

Grid and spacing

Work in an 8 px rhythm, with 4 px for precise adjustments. Suggested content maximum 1200 px, desktop gutters 32 px, mobile gutters 20 px. Use 12 columns on desktop and 4 on mobile.

Component language

Preserve the existing corner logic: 4 px controls, 8 px portraits, 14 px panels, 16 px editorial imagery and 18 px video. Targets should be comfortably usable, aiming for 44 px control height where practical.

Accessibility is behavioral: visible keyboard focus, non-color-only errors, persistent labels, predictable tab order, sufficient target sizes, and reduced-motion support need real device tests.
10 / Visual evidence

Show real work, with honest labels

RiShift should look credible because the presentation shows the work and attributes it accurately—not because generic sustainability imagery makes it look familiar.

Recommended content policy
Decision tree for distinguishing RiShift projects, attributed team experience, concepts, and illustrative scenes
Evidence classification guidance from the identity manual.
Visual principles

People. Decisions. Context. Outcomes.

Favor documented team activity, credible business contexts and real artifacts. Keep skin tone, proportions and crops natural. Avoid generic leaves, stock globes and manufactured proof.

Every claim needs a category

Distinguish a documented RiShift engagement from a team member's prior experience, a prepared workshop design, or an explicitly illustrative scene. Permissions and attribution belong in the asset register.

11 / Brand in the world

Consistent wherever it appears

Business materials, digital experiences and editorial content should feel like parts of the same identity system.

Illustrative mockups
RiShift business card and proposal cover mockups
Business card and proposal layout previews. Bracketed details are placeholders; not approved print files.
RiShift desktop website hero illustration
Illustrative bilingual website composition; not a screenshot of a published revision or an approved release.
RiShift social and editorial tile layout previews
Sample social and editorial composition with illustrative headlines. Use verified content and approved assets for real publication.

Business documents

Lead with the original signature, a clear title, client or audience, date, version and a plainly stated decision or action.

Web experiences

Clear headlines, concise explanations, visible EN/ES navigation and one primary next action; evidence close to claims.

Social & editorial

One message per piece, authentic attribution, legible hierarchy and accessible source-labeled graphics.

12 / Verbal identity

Precise, useful, human

The content system should make RiShift easy to understand while preserving the technical credibility expected in consulting and sustainability work.

Editorial guidance
Do

“We help connect sustainability priorities to business decisions and practical action.”

Specific, grounded, active, and understandable by business audiences.

Avoid

“We guarantee transformational results through unparalleled world-class solutions.”

Unprovable superlatives, guaranteed returns, and unspecific claims weaken trust.

13 / Digital rollout

From identity to a working experience

The brand system is not a website release certificate. It records the design direction and the checks necessary to bring it into production.

Current implementation context
Recorded

Bilingual structure

Fourteen working pages across seven English/Spanish routes: Home, Consulting, Workshops, Our Work, About, Insights and Contact.

Recorded

Existing web fonts

The recorded working website uses Manrope for display and DM Sans for body/controls. The proposed brand-system refinement introduces Carnas Light for large display headlines and Manrope for general reading, subject to font acquisition, rights and testing.

Launch work

Functional verification

Forms, contact delivery, accessibility, responsive QA, navigation, bilingual review, metadata and production deployment still require acceptance testing.

Do not conflate: a documented working website, client-approved identity decisions, verified lead-delivery functionality, and a public production launch. These are different milestones.
14 / Stewardship

A source of truth—not a folder of guesses

Preserve original assets, keep approvals auditable and make every downstream export reproducible.

Operating protocol
Suggested file structure
01_source/ Original, read only
02_master/ Approved production masters
03_exports/ SVG, PNG, PDF by destination
04_rights_and_decisions/ Licenses and approval log

Roles & approvals

RiShift brand owner: approves brand rules, claims and public usage.
Design custodian: maintains source and masters.
Production owner: verifies actual outputs, accessibility and environments.

Export naming

Use a consistent, descriptive filename: rishift_logo_fullcolor_v01.svg. Append language, size or destination when applicable.

File integrity

Keep originals immutable. Never derive a production mark from screenshots, a font recreation or a manually recolored preview.

15 / Decision register

What RiShift needs to approve

The content is complete as a working review system; these decisions are intentionally open so production does not outpace approval.

Client review pending

Your review, in four steps

  1. Review the proposed direction. Existing source artwork stays authoritative. Read the decisions in the sections and select Approve, Revise or Discuss; leave undecided items Pending.
  2. Suggest precise changes. Use each section’s visible comment field. State the wording, colour, font pairing or application you want changed. Comments remain a local draft until sent.
  3. Send one consolidated response. Enter your name and review code, then select “Send review to AGOOD”. A receipt reference confirms server storage. If sending is unavailable, export the feedback file or copy the summary and share it with AGOOD.
  4. Confirm the revised version. AGOOD consolidates feedback and returns an updated manual. RiShift’s designated approval owner confirms the exact version, date and approved scope in writing. Production and website launch require separate checks.

What “Approve” means here: agreement with a proposed direction for consolidation. Selecting it does not sign a contract, approve every application or authorize public release.

Who is reviewing?

Your submitted name, comments and decisions are stored for this project review. The review code is not included in exported feedback.

Draft only — not sent yet.

Send one consolidated response

Export your notes and decisions as a JSON file, or copy a readable feedback summary for email or chat.

Review edition boundaries: the original 30-page logo source remains authoritative. This document does not grant font rights, approve public claims, change the live website or constitute signed brand approval. The acquired Desktop license supports the fixed Carnas specimens here; client production and public web usage still require their applicable rights.
